Students can be assigned different roles to promote collaboration and offer multiple access points to learning.
Example:
Students were directed to choose roles: a reteller, a recorder, and a translator. In the case that there were more than three students to a group, doubling up on roles is appropriate. While the roles are specified, several students can negotiate for the accuracy of plot points and language usage.
